Janelle is a Tax & Accounting Partner with over eleven years’ experience working with a wide range of clients, including nonprofits, corporations, partnerships, and trusts & estates providing both accounting services and tax preparation.  She specializes in accounting, payroll, nonprofit tax returns & compliance issues, and trust & estate tax returns. Janelle has worked extensively in all areas of the firm. She became a partner in July 2020 with a focus on tax and accounting services. Prior to joining Elgee Rehfeld, Janelle had six years of experience in nonprofit and governmental accounting.

Janelle graduated from the University of Alaska Southeast and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants.
